Edwin Pope, the long-time Miami Herald columnist, has died. He was 88-years-old.
Pope covered the first 47 Super Bowls and was a fixture covering the Miami Dolphins and Hurricanes. He was the authority of south Florida sports.
Pope was named the Red Smith Award winner in 1989.
