MaxNewsToday’s application to join APSE has been approved by the executive committee. Its application appeared for 10 days on the APSE website, as required by the APSE by-laws, then was voted on by an email vote of the executive committee.

The site’s founder is Nathan Max, a former metro reporter at the San Diego Union-Tribune and Riverside Press Enterprise. His freelance sports reporting has appeared in more than 50 major metro newspapers.
