RESOLVED, upon adoption of this resolution, the APSE bylaws shall be changed in the following manner:
- Under Section 3 (B), the last sentence of the ninth paragraph should read as follows:
For such votes, the Executive Committee shall consist of the president, vice presidents, the Associated Press representative and region chairs, as well as past presidents.
- Add the following paragraph after the first paragraph of Section 3 (C):
In a year when the summer convention is canceled or not held, or the second executive committee meeting is not held during the convention, new officers will assume office beginning with the date the Executive Committee was scheduled to meet at the end of the summer convention, or on a date during the summer chosen by the Executive Committee.
- At the end of the first paragraph of Section 3 (E), change the period to a comma and add the following:
… except when the summer convention is canceled or not held, or the second executive committee meeting is not held during the convention, in which case a new third vice president will assume office as outlined in the second paragraph of Section 3 (C).
