The Las Vegas Review-Journal has an entry-level job in the sports department for a UNLV athletics/WNBA Aces/general assignment reporter.
- Responsible for covering UNLV athletic department, especially men’s and women’s basketball and football, and the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
- Also involved in coverage of the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, general assignments, “one-off events” in Las Vegas and some high school sports coverage as needed.
- Expected to shoot video and photos when appropriate and use social media to promote their content.
- Expected to live tweet, write quickly for online with updates as events develop and then make a turn for the next-day print product.
The Review-Journal hopes to move quickly on this position. This job will close after Thanksgiving weekend.
