APSE Summer Conference to offer digital consulting sessions

Do you have questions about your website, your digital workflow, social media efforts, or digital content?

Three APSE members who specialize in digital journalism will hold 1-on-1 meetings at APSE’s 2017 Summer Conference in New Orleans to help you get some answers.

Chris Carr of the Star-Tribune in Minneapolis, Glenn Yoder of the Washington Post, and Matt Pepin of the Boston Globe will conduct individual consulting sessions on Tuesday, June 27 and Wednesday, June 28. They will review your issues and concerns and help you craft a game plan for improvement.

Members can sign up in advance by emailing Pepin at matt.pepin@globe.com, or choose a time slot at the conference registration desk. Those who pre-register will be asked to fill out a brief survey about their site and supply some site metrics.

Sessions will be held at in the morning both days at 8, 8:35, 9:10, and 9:45, and in the afternoon at 3:45 and 4:20.

Carr is the deputy sports editor at the Star Tribune, where he oversees digital strategy in sports. Yoder is the digital sports editor for The Washington Post, and Pepin is the sports editor of BostonGlobe.com.
