Alabama Media Group seeks a driven reporter who can lead our daily coverage of college football recruiting. This person will focus on the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, SEC and the state of Alabama recruiting while collaborating with our team of sports reporters. 

We want someone who can become the definitive source and voice of recruiting in Alabama. This includes breaking news, writing insightful features and broadening our recruiting coverage into other platforms like podcasts and video. This person should be a competitive self-starter who wants to deliver coverage you can’t find anywhere else. There is a healthy appetite for recruiting content in Alabama and this person will be expected to produce a quantity and quality of coverage that meets those demands. Recruiting experience is a plus but not a requirement. 

While this position’s focus is on year-round recruiting content, this person will also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of our sports coverage including occasional Alabama and Auburn football game coverage. This person will also likely contribute to our high school sports coverage.
