The first set of mandatory dates for the 2021 APSE contest were chosen using random.org at the closing session of the APSE summer conference on Aug. 18 in Las Vegas.
- Daily: Week of Monday, January 25 through Saturday, January 30
- Sunday: January 10
- There are no mandatory dates assigned for the digital contest.
