The best and easiest way to get to the 2019 APSE Summer Conference in Atlanta is through Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
For those of you flying in, you will find a MARTA (Atlanta’s mass transit) station right off baggage claim. Trains run every 20 minutes.
Take the train to the Five Points station. There you will change trains (take train toward H.E. Holmes) you will travel one stop where you will get off at the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center stop.
Leave the station toward Centennial Olympic Park Dr. Turn left and walk to Marietta Street. Turn left to the Omni Hotel.
You can also get to the hotel be going through CNN Center.
The MARTA ticket roundtrip from the airport to the hotel and back will cost $6.
DRIVING
Those of you who will be driving – don’t. We don’t suggest it as parking in uncovered lots on the streets will cost at minimum $15 a day. Parking at the hotel will be $45 a day.

Follow I-75/I-85 S to Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. NW, in Atlanta. Take exit 249C from I-75/I-85 S
Turn right onto Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. NW.
Turn left onto Marietta St. NW.
Directions to the Omni Hotel Atlanta at CNN Center from I-75/I-85 North
Follow I-75/I-85 N to Central Ave SW in Atlanta. Take exit 246 from I-75 N
Continue on Central Ave. SW, drive to Marietta St. NW.
ANOTHER DRIVING OPTION
If you are determined to drive to the convention, consider this; drive to Hartsfield Airport and park in one of the park and fly lots. Reserve space now if you want to go this route.
These lots are open 24 hours and are well lit and guarded. A free shuttle will take you to the airport where you can then take MARTA to the hotel.
