Position Sought: I am seeking a full-time sports writer/reporter/columnist position for a major/well-known sports website, college or pro beat, newspaper, or magazine. I have experience writing columns and stories online and in print.
Summary: I am currently a freelance sports writer and columnist in Macon, Georgia. I write for two newspapers in Macon called The Macon Telegraph (sports-related) and The Georgia Informer (non-sports related) as well as sports websites such as The Shadow League, FanSided, and The Cheat Sheet. I have my own blogsite called InsaneAboutSports (http://www.insaneaboutsports.com/blog/) and I am also the author of the book “The Greatest Three- Way Rivalries in Sports History.”
I have experience writing and covering athletic high school and college games, writing profile stories, dealing with tight deadlines, writing columns for sports websites, self-publishing my own book, and have a firm idea of what sports topics and stories readers would be drawn to on a daily basis.
