Oklahoma State’s APSE student chapter is hosting the 2016 APSE Great Plains Regional meeting April 30 and May 1 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
One of five APSE student chapters in the country, OSU-APSE was recognized as an official OSU student club in November 2015.
This year’s Great Plains meeting is including regional and student members of the Association of Women in Sports Media.
The two-day event features Saturday night hospitality, a Sunday tour of Oklahoma State’s athletic facilities and a panel discussion on covering the serious issues of sports led by the Oklahoman’s APSE award-winning sports columnist Jenni Carlson.
There is no cost to attend, and the meeting is open to editors, writers and students.
