  • ESPN added Max McGee as a SportsCenter anchor. He was previously with WJZ-TV in Baltimore. Pete Thamel took a position covering college football for ESPN. Thamel was previously with Yahoo. ESPN named David Cone, Eduardo Perez, and Karl Ravech as its Sunday Night Baseball broadcast booth with Alex Rodriguez and Michael Kay on an alternate broadcast. ESPN moved Nick Friedell to cover the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, and it hired Kendra Andrews to cover the Golden State Warriors. Tom Howard left his role as director of “Pardon The Interruption.” Mark Schwarz announced his retirement after 32 years at ESPN. 
  • FOX added Laken Litman to covering soccer and college football and Christopher Lopez as a senior programming editor for gambling. 
  • The Las Vegas Review-Journal added Andy Yamashita to cover UNLV and the WNBA’s Aces. Sam Gordon moved to a columnist/enterprise role. 
  • MLB Network parted ways with reporters Richard Justice and Ken Rosenthal
  • The Philadelphia Inquirer added Alex Coffey to cover the Phillies. Sam Carchidi announced that he accepted a buyout to leave the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he covered the Flyers. 
  • The Salt Lake Tribune added Kevin Reynolds and Alex Vejar to cover BYU. 
  • Sporting News added Erika Fernandez as senior social media producer and Stephen Noh as an NBA writer.
