Bob Ley retired after 40 years with ESPN. Kara Lawson left ESPN to join the Boston Celtics.
- The New York Post added Mollie Walker as a sports general assignment reporter and Nick Piastowski became a sports editor.
- The Orlando Sentinel added Julia Poe as MLS and NWSL beat reporter and moved Roy Parry to Orlando Magic beat reporter.
- The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette put Joshua Axelrod in a digital sports producer role and Sarah Spencer on the Penn State football beat. Dave Molinari left the Post-Gazette as Penguins writer to cover the Penguins for DK Pittsburgh Sports.
