  • Jake Adams became Wisconsin sports planning editor for Lee. 
  • Gerry Ahern named sports editor at The Detroit News.
  • Danielle Allentuck became a Colorado Rockies reporter at the Colorado Springs (Colorado) Gazette. She previously covered high school sports for The Advertiser in Lafayette, Louisiana. 
  • Kyle J. Andrews started covering Penn State and high school sports for the Centre Daily Times in State College, Pennsylvania. He was previously with the Baltimore Sun. 
  • Ben Arthur joined The Tennessean in Nashville, Tennessee, as the Tennessee Titans beat reporter. He was previously with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. 
  • Daniel Bienaime was named New York Jets beat reporter for the New York Daily News. 
  • Drew Brees became the Notre Dame football analyst for NBC. 
  • Alec Brzezinski changed roles from being Gaylord (Michigan) Herald Times sports editor to being a digital producer for the Herald Times’ parent company Gannett. 
  • Joey Chandler started covering the New York Jets for NJ.com. She previously covered East Carolina for the Wilmington (North Carolina) Star-News. 
  • Sandeep Chandok joined Bally Sports as a digital sports news content producer. 
  • Matt Connolly took a senior reporter position at ClemsonSports.com. He previously covered Clemson football for The State.
  • Matthew Curry announced his move to covering sports for the West Central Tribune in Willmar, Minnesota. 
  • Theo DeRosa became the Mississippi State sports reporter for The Commercial Dispatch in Columbus, Mississippi. 
  • Julian Edelman joined “Inside the NFL” as an analyst. 
  • Mark Emmert left the Iowa Hawkeyes beat at the Des Moines (Iowa) Register to become editor of the Iowa City Press Citizen and Burlington (Iowa) Hawk Eye. 
  • Justin Fitzgerald became a sports reporter at the Cherokee Scout in Murphy, North Carolina. 
  • Stephen Garcia joined the Lubbock (Texas) Avalanche-Journal as a sports reporter. He was previously with the Abilene (Texas) Reporter News. 
  • Mark Giangreco parted ways with WLS-TV in Chicago, where he was a sports anchor. 
  • Travis Gupton took the sports editor role at the Murray (Kentucky) Ledger & Times. 
  • Andrew Hammond became assistant sports editor at the Detroit Free Press. 
  • Billy Heyen joined the Sandusky (Ohio) Register as a sports reporter. 
  • Michael Huang announced his new role as managing editor for sports at the Philadelphia Inquirer. He was previously with ESPN. 
  • Brett Hudson departed his Alabama football beat reporter job with the Tuscaloosa News for a role at Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. 
  • Peter Huguenin became sports editor of Daily Nonpareil in Council Bluffs, Iowa. 
  • Christina Kahrl took the San Francisco Chronicle sports editor role. She was previously with ESPN. 
  • Gaby Kirschner left the Bleacher Report social team to join We Are Social. 
  • Chelsea Ladd became a multimedia sports reporter for the Paducah (Kentucky) Sun. 
  • Tarik Masri started working as sports editor of the Enid (Oklahoma) News. 
  • Kami Mattioli accepted the role of digital sports and audience development producer at Bally Sports. 
  • Julian McKenzie became an associate editor for The Athletic NHL. 
  • Pete Nakos joined Lettermen Row as an Ohio State reporter. 
  • Eric Newman became sports editor at the Arizona Daily Sun in Flagstaff. 
  • Alissa Noe started covering high school sports for The Daily Camera in Boulder, Colorado. 
  • Ian O’Connor became a sports columnist at the New York Post. 
  • Sara Palczewski joined WEEK-TV in Peoria, Illinois, as weekend sports anchor/reporter. She was previously with the Opelika Auburn (Alabama) News. 
  • Jim Polzin shifted to being a sports columnist for the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, Wisconsin. 
  • Megan Ryan moved from covering the Minnesota Gophers to the Twins for the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
  • Al Saracevic became San Francisco Examiner assistant managing editor for news and sports.  
  • Travis Sawchik joined The Score as a senior MLB writer. 
  • Ryan Silapan announced he joined The Panola Watchman in Carthage, Texas, as a sports reporter. 
  • Adam Suderman left the Derby (Kansas) Informer as sports editor. 
  • Noah Taylor became a Tennessee Vols and high school sports reporter for The Daily Times in Maryville, Tennessee. 
  • Seth Tow joined Valley News in Lebanon, New Hampshire, as a high school and Dartmouth sports reporter. 
  • Tyler R. Tynes took a sports reporter role with GQ magazine.
  • Matthew VanTryon announced his departure as a high school sports reporter at the Indianapolis Star. 
  • Julio Vega became a sports reporter at the Amarillo (Texas) Globe-News. 
  • Matt Velazquez joined Bleacher Report as a quality editor. 
  • Dylan Wallace took the sports editor role at the Seymour (Indiana) Tribune. 
  • Hannah Withiam became managing editor of Just Women’s Sports. She was previously at The Athletic. 
  • The Athletic added Adam Coleman as an NFL editor, Kavitha A. Davidson as sports and culture writer, Mark Kim as a social media manager, and Katie Woo to cover the St. Louis Cardinals.
  • ESPN shifted Michael Rothstein to covering the Atlanta Falcons for ESPN. He previously covered the Detroit Lions. NBA analyst Paul Pierce and ESPN parted ways. 
  • FOX added Bob Stoops as a college football analyst for “Big Noon Kickoff.” Pedro Moura joined FOX as a national baseball writer. Dick Stockton retired as a broadcaster. Most recently, Stockton broadcast NFL and MLB games for FOX. 
  • The Houston Chronicle hired Danielle Lerner as an Astros and Rockets enterprise reporter. She previously covered the Memphis Tigers for The Daily Memphian. The Houston Chronicle parted ways with Texans reporter Aaron Wilson
  • The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim hired Matt Vasgersian as its play-by-play broadcaster. Darron Sutton was hired to handle play-by-play duties when Vasgersian broadcasts games on ESPN or MLB Network. 
  • MLB.com added Daniel Guerrero and Ryan Herrera as reporters. Herrera was previously with the Houston Chronicle.  
  • MLB Network hired Alanna Rizzo as a contributor for the show “High Heat.” Stephen Nelson became a co-host of the MLB Network show “Intentional Talk.” Yonder Alonso joined MLB Network as an analyst. 
  • The State in Columbia, South Carolina, hired Alexis Cubit as the Clemson sports reporter and Ben Portnoy became the South Carolina sports reporter. Cubit was previously at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. Portnoy previously covered Mississippi State for The Commercial Dispatch in Columbus, Mississippi. 
  • USA Today hired Alicia DelGallo as a senior sports editor. She was previously with the Orlando Sentinel. Tim Gardner started a new role as senior editor of search and optimization for the USA Today newsroom. Jimmy Hascup became USA Today editor in charge of breaking/trending. Blake Toppmeyer became SEC columnist for the USA Today Network after previously covering the Tennessee Vols for the Knoxville News Sentinel. Hemal Jhaveri parted ways with Gannett, where she had been Sports Media Group’s race and inclusion editor.
