Award-winning journalists cover and opine on Detroit’s professional football, baseball, basketball and hockey teams as well as historic college programs at two Big Ten universities, not to mention robust high school programs. Interested candidates need to be able to prioritize great enterprise and storytelling, recognizing Detroit’s place in the national discussion, amid the daily rush of breaking sports news for both digital and print audiences.

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience at a daily newspaper with at least two years of management experience.
