The Seattle Times seeks a reporter to cover college sports for one of the best regional news organizations in the country. This is a high-profile position working for an award-winning, family-owned newspaper in a robust, competitive metropolitan area.

We’re looking for someone able to cover Washington State, Gonzaga and Pac-12 sports, as well as other duties as assigned. Should be comfortable writing a long-form story on a complex subject, covering a deadline game or being on camera or in a podcast. Must have extensive digital and social-media experience, broad knowledge of sports and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

* College degree.

* Three years of digital and daily newspaper experience preferred.
