The Tulsa World is seeking an experienced sports reporter to cover one of the state’s largest sports beats, Oklahoma State University.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience covering Division I sports. This position requires the ability to track and report on all news concerning sporting events, athletes and the OSU athletic department. A proven ability to develop sources within the university and athletic community is also a plus.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Journalism, Mass Communications, Strategic Communications or related fields – or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of two years of media experience. Excellent writing, computer and social media skills are also required.
